About
Jack Mouradian is a London based musician and teacher. He held a scholarship to study at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire, where he graduated with his Master's in Performance in 2023.
A keen proponent of music by Armenian composers, Jack has collaborated with conductor Sipan Olah to premier many of these works for the first time in the United Kingdom. This has led to invitations to perform in Canada, Germany, Austria, Armenia and a concert tour in India. In October, Jack had the privilege to perform with the National Chamber Orchestra of Armenia, at St John Smith Square.
He is a member of the Olympia Trio, an oboe, bassoon, and piano trio. Together, they were invited to open the 2024 edition of the Kensington Olympia Festival of Music and the Arts.
Beside these projects, Jack finds the world of contemporary music fascinating, and continues to work with composers to perform new music.
As an oboist, Jack makes his own reeds – he also makes these for his students and other oboists. You can order them directly from this website.
Jack is a passionate teacher and his teaching portfolio includes whole-classes, smaller groups and individual tuition.
In his free time, Jack is also an armchair architect!
